I never liked Castform until recently. I don't know why, but suddenly I grew fond of it, which made me do this. I've always wondered why Castform hadn't a form for sandstorm, although it was listed as a weather type. (And they clearly state that in B/W) So... I made one. And while I was at it, I came up with a whole new weather type:
STORM: During the storm, Pokémon have to be careful with flying-type moves or water-types, because they might get stricken by a bolt of lightning. The chance is about 80%, and the lightning does 1/10 of the maximum HP damage. Electric-type moves gain power during the storm.

Did you know in Sword/Shield that technically a thunderstorm might be considered its own weather condition? In battle, during a thunderstorm, the field started with the Electric Terrain and Rainy weather. Of course, Castform is a no-show in Sword/Shield nor Scarlet/Violet, sadly.
